In a nutshell, Doceri is the ultimate tool for presentations and lessons. Through the Doceri Remote iPad app and Doceri Desktop software, you can control a computer (Mac or Windows), easily launch any document or application, and annotate over them at any time. You can save drawings and play them back in the future allowing even better presentations to be created from your existing PowerPoint or Keynote slideshows. If you just want to use it as a whiteboard, you can create any handwritten/drawn content on any background of your choice.

Dropbox allows you to create an online storage location (in the "cloud") through which you can sync documents with multiple computers, including your iPad, Android or iPhone. QuickOffice for the iPad (not free, but only about $14) even has a feature where you can call up documents directly from your Dropbox folder, and save to your Dropbox folder. This is particularly handy for documents you might want to bring up on your iPad (an observation form, for example) for one purpose, but bring up later for more intensive editing on your computer.

Dropbox download for your computer:
(You'll need to go to the App store for the iPad, or the Market for your Android phone to download the app for your device).

Take notes on your iPad, view them on your computer or phone. Evernote can be loaded on your iPad, phone, and computer. Through the account you set up, all will synch with each other. You can save emails, pictures, text snippets, web sites, and more. Take notes directly on the snapshot of the website you save.
